ABOUT
In Indian scripture, the bow represents the tuning of our mind and body, and the arrows represent our thoughts and actions. Starting with the body, we can challenge and change our inner narrative. We can begin to pull down the veils that construct and surround our experience of reality to tune it towards that which is of truth and importance, empowering us to pursue correct action and thought that is in alignment.
It is with steady, intelligent, and diligent practice of asana (yogic posture), meditation (dhyana), and pranayama (breathing practices) that we learn how to tune our mind and body.
This 50-HR week-long immersive is a deep dive into exactly that. Through extended practices incorporating breath work and sequencing inspired by the lineages of Rocket and Dharma, we'll work heavily into the fundamental components of how our practice becomes a mirror for the broader vision of our lives.
Throughout the week, we will explore the following:
How to train and work with acute areas of your yoga practice, e.g Samokonasana (middle splits), front splits, backbends, inversions
The implementation of gymnastic strength training to support your yoga practice
Flexibility and mobility training
The neurology of skill development
Assessing and coaching students
